As the Editor of Aname Blog, Anett Majercsik McCaul has several years of experience within the food industry and a healthy lifestyle. She is passionate about the different culinary cultures in the world as well as the connection between food and health.

She grew up in Hungary where food is a part of their tradition which is an important element in their everyday life. When she moved to Ireland, she become a member of a multinational community, where she participated in several food festivals. She was able to taste and become familiar with different dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques around the world.

Anett was introduced to the health aspect of the food when her mother was diagnosed with a gastroenterology illness called Crohn in 2000. She had the opportunity to learn and work closely with a professor who specialized in this field. In 2011 Anett has diagnosed with diverticulitis herself. She implemented her knowledge in her everyday life to be able to avoid regular hospitalization.

Based on these experiences Anett is passionate about helping people to learn about how healthy eating and lifestyle can positively impact their life. She also gives an insight into many delicious dishes from all around the world.
